Jerry is the Scientific Investigations Supervisor for the Imperial County Sheriff's Office  and Pastor of Remnant

Lanette is a Staff Services Analyst for the Imperial County Department of Social Services.

Our Story

We never set out to be dog breeders.  We just love Boston Terriers!  We also have 2 Pomeranians (pets only).

When our Pomeranian breeder friends, Bill and Leslie Manley, told us they were branching out into Bostons, we were excited.  We even thought at the time of breeding our Boston, Chopper with one of the Manley's Bostons. 

In approx. Dec., 2004, Bill and Leslie approached us with the opportunity to take Maggie, Sammi, and Dillon and begin Godsey's Bostons.  After much prayer and thought, we agreed.  Bill and Leslie are amazing tutors and have taken us under their wings.  Leslie has bred Pomeranians for over twenty years and also served as a Humane Society Officer in Imperial County.  She has been a tremendous help to us.

All of our dogs are raised as companion animals.  We breed to the standards but have not gotten into showing dogs.  We just like having them around and having fun with them.  It works for us, and we want to pass that joy along to others.  So much joy comes when we see our pups bringing joy to yet another family.
